LCCOC had an obedience match in Port Allen yesterday to raise funds to support the obedience trial (typically a money looser). Bern was entered in Open ... we just skipped the 2 dumbbell retrieves. He jumped over the jump for a target plate treat and back to front. The person calling was not used to a large fast moving dog... she struggled to get us turned at the edges of the ring. Check out the drop of recall picture... he was almost to front when we dropped him. Grace played a few minutes in the Open ring (her favorite) and the Novice ring

(not her favorite). As predicted Grace grumbled at everyone who performed a stand for exam on her - she doesn't have the confidence yet to stand and get petted. I got 3 or 4 people to feed her leftover prime rib with one hand and exam with the other hand. I like people who don't know her to pet her but she always scares them with the grumble and they back off... which is what she wants so she wins by grumbling. She is doing better but we are not event close to being able to enter her in a trial. We also took pictures of Kazee, Nikita, & Sparkle for Tracey, and Red Rover for Rosey since we didn't have any obedience pictures.
