AKC Herding and Conformation, Broken Arrow, OK

Spice, Kirk, and I drove from Shreveport to Oklahoma.  We spent a few days with Mom and then headed to Bartlesville to stay with Karen Cooper.  We spent Wed - Sun in Bartlesville.  On Saturday and Sunday mornings we tested on goats for AKC herding titles.  In the afternoon Kirk did conformation.  Karen had Mia, Bailey, and Cupcake entered in herding and Cupcake in conformation.  We drove to Broken Arrow on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to get setup for the trial and practice.

Spice came home with her Herding Tested (HT) title and Kirk earned his Herding Instinct certificate.  He won the 9 - 12 month old puppy class on Saturday.  On Sunday I showed another dog in conformation.  My first conformation show and Karen's.  Spice's Sunday run got videoed.

Bartlesville has an awesome dog park that Karen supports so we played there one day.  After all the playing and herding practice we took Kirk and Cupcake to Wash-A-Mutt for baths - another fun adventure.  We are looking forward to a return trip to see the goats and play in Bartlesville,  The MAS cousins and Karen were excellent hosts and hostess.  We had a grand time on our epic adventure.
