MASCUSA Sponsored Agility Trial - Our First

The Mid-American Miniature American Shepherd Club (MAMASC) hosted the first MASCUSA sponsored AKC agility trial this past weekend.  Mike and I made the drive to Broken Arrow, OK to support the event.  We met several Facebook friends and their teammates in person.  Karen Cooper was very gracious - we camped at her house in Bartlesville.

The trial was indoors on mats at K9 Manners & More in Broken Arrow, OK.  The trial offered T2B, standard, and JWW each day.  Both dogs ran everything except we left early Sunday (4:00 pm) to drive to Norman to eat a birthday dinner with my family.

Our results from the weekend are below.  Spice earned her Open JWW title and ran great all weekend.  Kirk picked up a Novice JWW but broke his teeter on sticky equipment Saturday morning.  His teeter stayed broken all weekend.  Sigh!  Tracey helped me work with Kirk upon our return - I'm hopeful he will try the teeter this next weekend at our November LCCOC trial.

Mike did video and still photos of our runs this weekend.  Video links immediately below.  Photos from various sources follow.
