Tanglewood Plantation Ruins, Pendleton, SC

After tracking we stopped by the Pendleton libary to see the ruins of Tanglewood Plantation.  This is located just around the corner from the house.  In fact, a large white pine fell on the library parking lot last Saturday.  We heard the tree crash noise at the house quite clearly.

I can't find much about the property.  There is one historical photo.  The original house was built in the 1830s.  It burned in 1908 and was rebuilt.  It burned again in the 1970s.  It was a nice today to walk around the structure.  I snapped a few photos with my phone.
