Agility Workout

Tonight was agility class for Grace. Bern rode along to practice weaves.
  • I let Bern have his turn first. The course was still up from last night so we ran about 4 sets of 12 competition weaves and then ran the contact obstacles, the dreaded tire, and some jumps on the course. He looked really good. Offside weaves are still better so when possible I will try to handle from offside this weekend.
  • No Nedra or Georgie still so without class starting I just ran Grace over the course. She is moving quickly and more smoothly. I'm trying to run smoothly and calmly with her. We are getting better as a team. She then performed some open channel weaves sets. She has nice speed so we need to really work on getting the channel closed.
As we were finishing up, I reached down to pat Grace at the same time she jump up... chipped a really small sliver off the back of my right front tooth. Not sure if what broke was the plastic or the tooth. It is time for my 6 month checkup so the timing is somewhat convenient.

Started loading the car to head to Brandon for the AKC agility show this week. In addition to the crates, I pulled out a couple of books on CD. These books were on my Christmas list so I'm looking forward to listening to them. We are bunking with Tracey and her gang which means we will likely do a few movies too.

Things are still busy at work; however, I managed to find most of my office floor again today. I'm hoping by the end of the week that I have recovered the entire floor and all the project-related files are able to fit on the bookcases.

The other thing I did in preparation for the weekend was to get the wrinkles out of my RSR red polo shirt for Sunday chapel service. It is now ready to jump into when I fly through the house on my way between Brandon and FUMC Sunday PM. I'm certainly living fully and abundantly this weekend.
