Last Friday URS Corp let our URS Baton Rouge Office Manager go. The person who has traditionally handled the office finances and contracting (so she is at URS VP level) will be appointed office manager. Business strategy decisions it seems will now be made by others in the New Orleans office. As a few of my co-workers said... "better the evil we knew than the evil we don't know". Everyone has gifts and graces... and since Craig had been the office manager for several years we knew where his gifts and graces were and were not. Now we face the unknown... just a bit more stress in my life.
