Bern ran 5 runs over the weekend. He had a wonderful time but our Q rate was lower than I would like. We only Q'd once - Open Standard on Saturday for leg 2 of his OAP. Overall he ran well all weekend. He was fast and happy with only a few off courses. Michael Loftis was taking photos at the show. Bern needs to be more consistent on his weaves... Clean Run recently published a 2 part article titled World Class Weaves. I plan to work Bern and Grace through the training steps suggested in the article.
Grace rode along on Saturday so she could practice tracking and hang out in the show environment. She tracked great. She can follow a straight fresh track without kibble. She needs to learn article indication and work on turns.
We gave Grace a medicated bath with the Malaseb shampoo from DVM Saturday evening. We then rinsed her with baking soda and water. We are spraying her with the Ox-E-drops solution and feeding her the correct food and supplements. He skin looks better so maybe she will starting growing the missing hair back now.
