Tracey and I both showed up at class early to run dogs on courses prior to class starting. This plan seems to be working well for me. Bern doesn't like to run much so he practices for a few minutes and is finished. I'm trying Grace, Bern, and Grace again so Grace gets more practice. Her weaves are better but still need work - may it not rain much more this week but cool down before the weekend.
For my beginner class we practiced full height contacts, weaves, the chute, and finally some handling on the jumpers class. We started working the beginnings of changing handling arms/directions with the dogs last night. Everybody made it through the beginning exercises just fine. The class seemed to really enjoy trying new handling skills.
