It rained, drizzled, fogged, and continued to stay wet the entire weekend. The outside temperature warmed up but the fog stayed around. It started raining again in earnest on Monday afternoon. Rain fell throughout the night and most of Tuesday. Just to the NW of BTR the temperature is 10 degrees cooler than here. Hopefully the cold front will push on through and dry things up. Meanwhile, the house smells of three wet dogs.
Tracey's Christmas present is finished. Now I need to make arrangements to get it to her. The finished product is as nice as I had hoped it would be. Yeah for plans going well! I'll post a photo after she gets her gift.
Stately Warren Manor has broken yet another major system. The thermostat for the central heat/AC unit has a short in it. It keeps resetting the target temperature much higher than is comfortable... 78...82.. one time it had climbed up at 90. The unit is turned off now so none of us (especially Bern) melts. I need to call Sam the repair guy stat now that the temperature outside is threatening to cool back down and a reasonable amount of warm air from the heater would be appreciated.
