Oklahoma Visiting - Part II

Sunday the whole family decided to attend family day at the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art on the OU campus. Mom came along in her wheelchair. The nieces are now big people and are very skilled at pushing the wheelchair through tight places. Everyone seemed to enjoy the collections that were available. Since the museum is undergoing renovation a large portion of the gallery spaces are closed.

The museum houses a surprising good collection of French Impressionism art - all part of a donated collection (Weitzenhoffer Collection). There are also several pieces from a US State Dept. collection acquired following the touring of the collection after WWII by the State Dept.

I made it back to BTR just before a torrential downpour. I'm trying to get caught up on paperwork, housework,.... and tomorrow work work. Next Saturday is the NCEES meeting in BTR. Bern will be doing obedience on Sunday.... PLEASE MAY HE FIND HIS DROP! I will help him look for it this week.
